  2. Open the YouTube Video you wish you share [yours or someone else’s]

— THE PROCESS —

How to Share a YouTube Video Link

In YouTube, click on Share and a pop-up displays a URL / link code. If you click on Facebook it’s going to open that up in another tab. What you want to do here is just “copy” the link so you can paste it into Facebook. Once pasted, Facebook will fetch a preview and provide a screenshot of this video. Move the link to where you want it displayed, and that’s pretty much it if you want to simply share the video and do nothing else.

How to Give Your Video Content Context

Paste your prepared content / Post wording, including any hashtags // yes hashtags are a thing, so take the time to actually think of a few as you can see they will turn into links once imported or pasted into your Facebook post. Icons and emojis come across as well also.

Correct any spacing and spelling so it’s a little bit more visually pleasing and easy to read.

Because you want people to watch your video, be sure to use directive wording.

How to Present Your Post + Tag

Putting extra things like question marks or forward slashes can cut through the noise a bit and get more attention. Also mixing it up between capitals and lowercase also helps with the post itself sticking out amongst all of the others. If possible, remember to tag any related business pages. Also, by doing this the tagged business(s) will receive a notification.

How to Share Your Video Marketing Further

If you want to further promote your Post and are already a member of some Facebook groups you can share your Post to those groups. You can also share this to your personal Feed / Account. I suggest always clicking on the include your original post checkbox.

Adding #Hashtags

Hashtags actually do help with reach and is why we recommend including them.
