About Kimbala Country Escape
Tucked away off the grid where the loudest sound most nights is an owl is Kimbala Country Escape, a working cattle property in Monsildale, near Kilcoy. Guests stay in the Stockman’s House, once home to the men who worked this land, and fill their days with the kind of nothing people forget how to do: reading on the verandah, watching calves in the paddock, leaving the phone in a drawer. Couples, families and small groups make the trip for this kind of quiet, and once they’ve felt it, most come back for more.
It was a pleasure working with owner Simone and learning the story behind Kimbala, in her family since 1906 and carrying more history and character than most brands ever dream up. Kimbala needed a website worthy of it: one designed to turn a first glance into a “we have to go, let’s book!” The goal: a digital home guests fall for the moment they land on the page.
A Full Digital Brand, Made for The Kambala Story
Web-Sta shaped Kimbala’s entire digital presence from scratch: brand, website, copy and search visibility, every piece pulling toward one goal. To turn a private family property into a destination people actively seek out and book.
Custom Logo Design
with a scenic silhouette of Kambala’s Stockman’s House, later printed on shirts and hats, giving guests something to take home and remember their stay.
Full Website Design and Copy
launched in February 2026, the new site carries Kimbala’s story in the same unhurried voice guests find in person, while still guiding them toward booking.

Dedicated Local Attractions and Activities Pages
to showcase nearby spots like Jimna Base Camp, the Jimna Fire Tower and Lake Somerset, offering guests a reason to plan a full stay around Kimbala, not just book a night.

Onsite SEO, Photography and Social Integration
via professional photography from Kath Scott and Experience Somerset, paired with onsite SEO and connected social channels, put Kimbala in front of the right searches.

A Property Now Ranking Ahead of Airbnb
Kimbala went from a family secret to a destination guests actively search for, find, and book directly, and we’re not shy in saying we’re a little proud of this one!
A brand guests carry home. The Stockman’s House logo now lives on shirts and hats, not just a website header, so a piece of the property goes home with every guest.
A search presence punching well above its weight. Kimbala holds the #1 Google ranking for multiple target search phrases and outranks Airbnb itself for local accommodation searches, a genuine win for a small, family-run property.
A story worth staying for. Dedicated attraction pages turn a single-night enquiry into a full weekend planned around Kimbala.
“Web-Sta really are Stars! From the Start – Karen was eager, willing and open to listening to what I wanted to achieve. Promptly, Karen and her team presented me with options and from there we tweaked and came up with an amazing product – Website and logo/branding.
I highly recommend Web-Sta – nothing is too hard or too much trouble – they have all the solutions for your business. “ ~ Simone
